I have a S&W 63-3 with a 2" barrel. It shoots OK, but the sight radius is short. Short barrel, short range accuracy. I have 0/zero use for mine. I actually bought it from a dealer who advertised it as being in 22 Magnum and I thought that it would be handy to shoot snakes with CCI shot loads.

There are two points to be made about these guns. One has been pointed out already, short sight radius. The other is POI vs. POA. There is often little correlation and no way to resolve the problem. Peter.

NE 450, I stand corrected, I did not know that they could come with fully adjustable sights. Peter.

i think i've had half a dozen model 34's but all with the 4" barrel. everytime i sell one i ended up going out and buying another to replace it. I've never had one shoot as well as a model 17.
I purchased my 2 inch barrel S&W Kitgun in 1968, and have loved it ever since then. The best I have ever been able to do with it has been to keep my shots inside the black of a 25 yard pistol target. The sights may be fully adjustable, but that has little bearing on accuracy, imho anyway. I think the 2 inch kitgun is a love at first sight piece, I'm keeping mine.
