I have been a member here for several years but I post very infrequently. I mostly like to lurk around in hopes of learning something useful. I want to use the “Classifieds” section but I need clarification regarding correct usage. I have numerous items to list on this sites “Classifieds” section. I am helping the widow of my good friend and former employer Jim Dubell liquidate some items collected during his 30 plus years as a custom gunmaker. There are gun parts, gunsmithing tools, reloading components/tools etc. Is it appropriate for me to place a post in other sections of the forum that alerts people to the listing in the classifieds? Likely forums would include “Reloading”, “Gunsmithing”, etc. Thank you.

Yes, you may post a link to your ads in the relevant subject forums. For best results, post photos, a good description, and price (mandatory) for each item or lot. George

As George said, it is allowed. I would advise that it is not necessary. Decent adds in the classifieds seem to garner more than enough attention. BTW, it is very good of you to help Mr. Dubell and his widow. I met them several years ago and I was impressed. They seemed like great people. Jason "You're not hard-core, unless you live hard-core." _______________________ Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt. Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure. -Jason Brown
