CollinsOf the thousands that are members and guests on this forum, only one is complaining. If Don deleted everything any individual found disturbing this board would disappear. Although I count any loss of a member with significance, the loss of an intolerant member to maintain the integrity of the forum is certainly acceptable.

There are many religions, but there is only one "faith" (as opposed to a religion, define religion as mans attempt to quantify and know God) where the God of all creation reaches out to men for a relationship. The "relationship" is not a partnership but an adoption as a child of the only God (note I did not say only "true" God, there can only be one God, not many gods or false gods - as there can only be one Creator, one author of lie, one that is I AM ).
I have no problem or issue with a "poke of fun" at 'religion' as you are poking fun at make believe and something that man has created trying to fill a void in life or an attempt to appease a god of anger, evil, death. I feel a sense of loss when someone trades a "relationship" based on love and acceptance for a make believe god that "demands" acts of un-love.
Anyway - Merry Christmas and a joyous rememberance and celebration of Emmauel's birth - "God with us".

The only answer if this sort of thing is too devisive is to create a "Religeons & Beliefs" main board and relegate this debate to a specific area for those who thrive on it.
Frankly, I find Don's attempts to remember and remind us of all this stuff VERY enlightening.
