In some member's have links to hunt reports in their signature.

When I attempt to do this, I get the entire string of letters/numbers that is the link. I would like to rename that link to eliminate the long string of characters.

For example, I hunted in CAR this year and would like to have a link to the hunt report in my signature.

It would look like this -

CAR 2012 - http://forums.accuratereloadin...541030471#9541030471

I would like to be -

CAR 2012 and be highlighted and be the actual link.

How do I do this?

In the grey background tool bar at the top of the text box there is a URL button. Click it, enter the link and title desired Then click OK. It's quick & easy.
