So I'm thinking I need to do a Goat or Sheep hunt.

Physical conditioning aside (where I figure I need to be in pretty much Marathon shape) my biggest single concern is that I'm tied to a CPAP. Genetics just didn't favor me...

I did a hunt on Kodiak last year and used a car battery to run the machine for five days - that worked out great. But lugging the battery and machine around for a high mountain tent camp isn't likely to happen.

Is there such a thing as a goat/sheep hunt that can be done from a basecamp?

Regards,

Robert

Check out their Winter hunt. I don't know anything about them but found them doing a general internet search.

There are plenty of boat bases goat hunts available from SE guides that should work for you.

Anyone who claims the 30-06 is ineffective has either not tried one, or is unwittingly commenting on their own marksmanship
