JustinL01Unguided Caribou Hunts...
I know there are a few posts about unguided caribou hunts on here already, but I was wondering if you guys could line me up with a decent outfitter that offers hunts in Aug. for caribou. I'd like to add a black bear if that's possible, too, but not necessary. I can't do a hunt any later than Aug. (I'm a college student), so if I can't do that, I would definately like to do an unguided spring black bear hunt in AK, probably in 2008. Any help you guys could give me would be great.

I've used PaPa Bear, and I'd use them again (check out my recent hunt report). I've also had good recommendations for the other two. Also check out the Alaska OutdoorsDirectory,

It's a grand adventure, but don't forget the bug spray, head net, etc. in August.
