Jerry,

Nice moose but yours/ours was bigger.

Biebs, Just call me if you want a big moose. It's really that easy.

Nice! Kenai should be getting some more like that over the next 5 years or so. They just implemented no spike/fork bulls for residents, so +50" or 4 brow tines as minimum.

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

WOW, that reminds me of my hunt in the Fairwell Burn, particularly the hard work after the picture taking. Good shooting

There are still some nice ones out there. My client just took this 69 1/2" bull and my daughter and her hunter are working on an even larger one

Anyone who claims the 30-06 is ineffective has either not tried one, or is unwittingly commenting on their own marksmanship
