This may be a little late but after my bear hunt, leaving Tuesday for Kodiak, I'd like to do some fishing out of Homer for halibut/salmon. This will be around May 20th. Does anyone have a recommendation for a charter boat/captain?

Consider halibut fishing out of Kodiak also. Just walk into a bar or down to the docks and see if anyone is going out.

Trips from Kodiak tend to be shorter boat rides to get to the halibut grounds, and sometimes there are deals to be had.
