I shoot a number of large caliber rifles. I tried Talley's Quick Release for the first time on a Weatherby .338-.378. I could not remove the scope and have it come back to center after the re-attach. I went over all aspects of the mounts, checked the torque amount and about drove myself crazy. By the way the scope is a Leupold LPS. Finally gave up the ship and purchased a set of EAW QR which I have used before and had good success with. I hope this helps, good luck.
