I'm about to book a spring bear hunt in Kamchatka, and the first 5 days coincide with a full moon.
Has anyone ever noticed less bear activity when you have a full moon?

i've never paid attention..be interested to here what others think...

You will find that the days will be so long on a spring hunt that you won't see much of the moon.

Moon phases doesn't affect hunting Griz, unless you are supersticious....killed them in full moon, no moon, and many times around noon, to answer your question. I know a few native hunters, they don't pay much attention to it either.....Now fishing is another thing, tides are affected by it.
