There's also a Worldwide Angler store.

I prefer to order mine here:

For a fly fisherman, you should stop by Mountain View Sporting goods (907) 563-8600 http://www.mvsports@alaska.net , and another tackle shop worth visiting is B&J commercial (907) 274-6113. I've never been there, but there is also world wide angler (907) 561-0662 http://www.worldwideanglerinc.com

I'm pretty sure Mountain View does mail order, not sure about B&J, but with all our bush communities, I'd imagine they both ship.

I am not a fly fisherman (anymore) but I would strongly agree with Paul's recommendations...Mountain View has some sophisticated equipment (I only wonder into their fishing section to look at their chest waders).

What type of bear repelent are you considering Smiler?

Ditto Mountain View Sports.......much better service than Sport.W'house/comparable prices/do ship. But,Sports.W'house does have a better selection of bear repellant bells. Smiler

Mountain View Sports. The folks are actually flyfisherman themselves not just wannabe kids.

I must go with Mountain View Sports as well. I'd recommend WalMart before Sportsmans Warehouse.
