Seems like I saw this one as well before. Yup! No way the Kotzebue area. Maybe I'm wrong, but he looks awful big even for an Alaska Peninsula bear. Is it possible these photos are from the Kamchatka Peninsula in the former Soviet Far East? They've got larger bears than we do. Bear in Fairbanks
