A recalcitrant back injury has forced me to withdraw from a wonderful boat-based brown bear hunt. This hunt is with Alaska Coastal Outfitters run by Brad and Minnie Dennison. It begins out of Juneau on April 28 and concludes in Sitka on May9-10 for a total of 11 days hunting All my communications with Brad and Minnie have reassured me that I picked a first rate outfitter. Their referances could not have been better and I believe Mr. Shoemaker, highly respected here as Win 458, has posted kind words about Brad. I am not their agent and can not represent them, but I suspect that any hunter who can go on short notice could strike a handsome bargin with them. I am heartsick, as well as backbroken, that I can't go.

I assistant guide for Brad in the fall for his Brown and black bear hunts and he does have a good operation first rate boat good guides and food is top of the line. I also worked for him ten years ago as a assistant before I started my own hunts. I believe Brad has a cancellation on a fall Brown bear hunt also that may be a great deal.
