Here's a pic of a black bear and her cub. Pretty darn big cub, eh? What color phase would you say the cub is?



This summer I watched three very small black bear cubs wander out in order onto the beach. They were followed by their cinnamon colored mom. Wish I'd taken a pic.

Looks like it may be too early to tell. Assuming the cub will grow into one color I would vote for blond.

Isn't it true blonds have more fun?

It will be interesting if you can track the cub's growth with pictures.
