p dog shooterOf those I heard about and partly watched
I tend think that a good hunter with a good rifle would end any of them shortly.
But then it would not be a horror movie.
But then I have the same problem with any horror type movie.

FrostbitBart should definitely get best supporting actor

chuck375Absolutely Picture of Bart the Bear below I think, got it off the Internet. He was the grizzly actor in "The Edge" with Anthony Hopkins. As far as any hunter with a good rifle, maybe if you're hunting him. If he's hunting you and you're in a tent in the dark, not so much.

Chuck

Todd WilliamsBart was definitely a big boy.
Another big brownie from the movies / TV is Brody. I've seen him in person a few times. Not as tall as Bart was but has a head like a washtub!!

Brandon.GleasonMy grandfather was a movie buff. I remember many afternoons sitting in his basement living room/bar and watching Grizzly.

buckeyeshooterNot the best, The Edge and Grizzly Maze are better. However, I still watch Night of the Grizzly some times.

458WinVerner Hertzog’s Grizzly Man .
Timothy Treadwell was an idiot, but after 13 years of his foolish antics he honestly proved his point that bears are not nearly as dangerous nor aggressive as people imagine.
But there are limits.
Anyone who claims the 30-06 is ineffective has either not tried one, or is unwittingly commenting on their own marksmanship

WstrnhuntrNot exactly a horror movie, but as a youngster "The Night of the grizzly" with Clint Walker left a lasting impression on me.

Herzog's narration is always a plus. The inevitability of Treadwell's demise is only eclipsed by the "girlfriend" he took with him. And the bush pilot's description of the aftermath.

A7DaveGreat 70's movie by John Huston, "A Man in the Wilderness". Precursor to Revenant. Classic with Richard Harris. A bit of Herzog's "Fitzcarraldo" and Jeremiah Johnson combined. Saw it when I was a teen.

"Backcountry" 2014
It is a Black bear but worth mentioning. A couple with some relationship issues go on a 3 night hike/camp.
I was rooting for the bear before he even makes an appearance....

Yes, poor Clint thought the 1892 in 44-40 was the stuff for Grizzly.

Made in my neighborhood, I thought it was a pathetic movie. Then Leonardo had the balls to call our natural Chinook winds evidence of climate change.

chuck375I enjoy actors for their acting ability, that's it. Most actors/actresses are libtards, just a fact. There's a few exceptions but not many. I try to not keep me from enjoying their films.
