Crescent creek bear hunting

Hi all what are your thoughts of hunting blackies off the crescent creek trail in coopers landing? If you have tips or secrets you would like to share please email me at kenaiking@gmail.com

I've hiked that trail twice, just for grunts. Stayed at the cabin there halfway thru the trail, I think its called the "saddle" cabin or something like that. Anyway, there's a skiff there All you need to do is reserve the cabin, fly in there with your gear and food etc, glass the other side for boars on the opposite side of the lake and up the mountain there, find one, paddle to the other side of Crescent Lake with the skiff, hike a bit up the mountain across the way with your rifle, take him and skin him out and you're hunt is done with. There's plenty of black bear in there. Both times I've been there, I've seen a bunch of black bears up on that mountainside and lots of sign on the cabin side also. That's a pretty virgin area for bear hunting as far as I know.
