BW, My feeling is that once a guy touches off a round at an animal he then takes responsibility for the whole process regardless of what happened before or what happens after. You do not have to shoot but if you do what happens after falls on you. I have let a guide's questionable judgement lead me into a shot that didn't feel right a couple of times. The thing is I could have chosen to not shoot but I didn't. It was MY choice. Sometimes we all have to eat a little crap and admit we just blew it. Regards, Mark

Old Fart, Your may be missing the fact that Bill G didn't just attack his guide, but in fact the whole guiding industry in Alaska. If you were to take his word (which I can no longer do) he caused 900 hunters who said they were coming to Alaska to change their minds. It's Bill's behavior, rude language, and willingness to stoop to any level which is the topic of this post. Everything else was debated here in the past, Bill didn't like the way it was going, and tried to get me censored. Happy Thanksgiving!
