I saw a Ruger No. 1 tropical stainless in .375 H&H it had an MPI synthetic stock. I was just curious do you guys actually see any of these used in Alaska.

I use one every year on my moose hunts. Mine has the laminate stock and I really love hunting with it.

I have one that I love. The last time I shot a brown bear for myself and was not guiding I used this rifle. I was looking to add a little extra challenge to the hunt so I whent on the hunt alone with the single shot rifle.
Normally as a guide I do carry a bolt action .338
