| Two other books you may want to read about the Great land...
1. "Track of the Kodiak" by Marvin H Clark same guy who wrote "Pinnell and Talifson: Last of the Great Brown Bear Men". It is more about the bears and Kodiak Island, with additional info about P and T.
2. "Fair Chase with Alaskan Guides" by Hal Waugh and Charles Keim. Another great read about hunting in Alaska in the 50's and early 60's. This book is out of print, but can be found.

| If you think Ralph Youngs books were good, you would have loved playing pool and drinking a few beers with him in Petersburg AK, about June of 1965, and listening to his stories (raw unedited) in person. Was quite a guy. walex |
