A buddy of mine had a caribou hunt in Quebec fall through so we decided to meet in Ketchikan last week of Sept and go from there.

We're looking into renting a Forest Service cabin over on POW and try to find him a Blackie with his bow.

Any suggestions/warnings/tips?

I'm an AK resident and have no need to shoot another black bear but could go for a bit of venison.

Any insights about transporters, cabins, etc. would be greatly appreciated!

P.S. Would be willing to trade "secret spots" in Prince William Sound
