I can't believe that this moron is a local idiot. But he's in line for the 2008 "Timothy Tastewell" Award for Lunacy.

Feeding dog food to bears is pretty dumb.

They are just big cuddly animals, they would never hurt anyone or anything. Plus, he has the cattle prod should anything go wrong... popcorn

most people don't realize that there are good reasons for not habituating wild animals toward people.
Actully it's one of my pet peaves but more so the state of AK reconizes the wrong in doing this and sate law forbids the practice.
I'd be happy to see the state make an example of him.

It ticks me off that he's also putting other, naive and uninformed, people in danger and making them think this is okay.

Pretty goofy stuff..

BTW, I seen no problem with dog food for bear bait, In Idaho Jelly Beans is a favorite, as is dog food, day old donuts, fish, honey, Vinella, and Lord knows what else, what you have on hand, dead chickens from a local chicken farm is really good in a barrel with holes in it, after they start melting its extra goooood! dancing

Bear have some heanious eating habits! So do some people!
