Looking to do a winter boat based goat hunt with my wife. Primary focus would be for her to have a good time and enjoy the scenery so a nice boat with good amenities is a plus. She is not a hunter but want her to feel like the trip is for her too so I get to go without guilt Wink. Appreciate any comments. Thanks.

In my opinion, the above poster will have a very long peaceful marriage, and knows how to treat a wife, and is making the right moves for a hunter who wants very peaceful and long marriage! ...............................well done Vince!

My suggestion would be with Glacier Guides. They have a beautiful boat that your wife would be more than comfortable on. The scenery of those winter goat hunts are incredible and having the accommodations on the boat can make a winter goat hunt quite the unique experience.

Not to mention, they kill great billies every year!

My wife and I have Bear hunted and fished with Glacier Guides.
They have a 1st class operation and kill big Billies.
She will be more than happy!

I can heartily recommend Paul Brand's Alaska Safaris Unlimited. Just did a black bear hunt with my son and a buddy this May and had a great experience.

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!
