Anyone entering it this year? We've got a couple trips planned with Captain Dave of the "Grand Aleution". He's won the derby in the past. I think he was getting a new boat this year. Not sure if he did & what's its name. Anyway for $10 it's worth a shot.

Just checked a 140lber is in the lead caught on Bob's Trophy Charter.

I've got to make sure I get some of those patches that you put behind your ear for sea sickness. Otherwise I'd be chumming all day.

Be sure & buy a ticket every day, they wont sell ya a whole season or multi day ticket like any other derby will. I keep my boat in Homer & fish 2-3 days a week. Fishing has been good this year Kings & Butt, Silvers should be showing off Pogi SOON!! Good luck & have a blast in Homer!! dancing tu2

We'll be staying in our cabin in Castaway Cove on the Kenai River. Wife will be flossing for reds while the "boys" go to Homer for a couple days. I'm hoping the 2nd run of reds is as good as the Russian River run. Flying up on July 17th.
