We've just established a business relationship with Greg Jennen/Glacier Mountain Outfitters. I'm pretty excited about it as Greg has hunted for the very best of the best in Alaska so comes highly recommended.

He has one opening for May 5-12 for black bear in Prince William Sound. At this point he will sell this 8 day hunt for $3000 per hunter 1x1 or 2x1.

You need to fly to Valdez where Greg will meet you at the Best Western to begin your hunt. You'll have at least 6 full days of hunting and the hunt itself will be the usual spring affair. You'll cruise the shore looking for grazing or rutting bears along the beach and then initiate a stalk if it is ia big bear.

Bears will run 6.5'-7' plus and on this first hunt should have some great fur.

The boat is a 30 ft cabin cruiser with nice bunks plus full bath and shower. The hunts are conducted from a 16 foot center console skiff with 4 stroke outboard.

$3000 is just plain cheap for this kind of hunt so if you want a big bear you might want to jump on this.

In the fall Sept 6-12 also is open for black bear at 1x1 $4000 or $3200 2x1. These hunts would be done up along the salmon streams were encounters could be close and personal.

Greg has done over 100 of these bear hunts so you could not be in better hands.

Lastly he has one opening for goat Sept 15-22. These are the big boys with a real chance at a 10" billy. You will need to climb upto about 3000 feet so a fair degree of physical fitness is necessary but you will not climb unless you've already spotted a big goat. There will be no speculation climbs. This hunt is $7500 1x1.

Contact me anytime for further details.

OLBIKER,

The weather out of Valdez is better than SE Alaska but I would expect you would have some rain, fog and drizzle. You may have some bright sunny days too and on those days it will seem like there are bears everywhere.
