Just wondering....I know winter is not over quite yet, but was interested in how the Moose around the Tok area may have wintered? Specifically just north 50-60 miles ish.
If any of you may be in the know, I would appreciate your input. Thanks.

To early to tell. Moose usually have enough fat reserves till spring.
It isnt the winter that might get them, it is the long drawn out cold spring weather with wet deep snow.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

Up Eagle, we didn't get much snow until lately. Moose around me are always digging for water more than short of food it seems.

Moose should have done fine. It seems to be a little deeper snow this year than the past, but doubt it is hurting them at all. Low moose densities around Tok for the most part.
