MARK H. YOUNGScott,
I think Unit 17 probably produces as big bulls as anywhere in AK. Amazing fronts on that 62"!

It's too bad circumstances aren't different, that 62 would make a fantastic shoulder mount.
It's boiled european and will still look good on the wall.

georgeldWhole lotta points on that one.
Sure would make an impressive mount.
Congrats to the hunter.

tysueDid you tell the Alaska Daily News I think it is, and give them your story, as they have a yearly OVER 60, club, for Moose over 60".

tysueSorry, should have said Anchorage Daily News. they put the Moose in the size into a special edition. I used to get it every year.

Bill/OregonHuge bulls. Y'all are so fortunate to live and hunt in Alaska. I've only been there once -- fishing near Wrangell. I'll never forget it.

Neither of those two are mine and I didn't send to ADN.
Out here the big antlers are fun and many of us do like taking big trophy bulls but primarily it is about the meat. When a big bull steps out it's great but there's very few folks here that'll pass a small or any bull.
