Hey All, Considering looking into a Blacktail hunt for this year but just wondering what the status of the herd is on Kodiak and other parts of the state. I heard that the deer took a beating a few years ago and have not yet made a full comeback. Any input would be appreciated as well as any recommendations on outfitters would also be welcomed. In S SE on Prince of Wales Island we have had 3 mild winters in a row .... counting this one. It is making for very good Sitka Blacktail hunting. | |||
