'Just saw this movie and I couldn't find anything else on this site regarding it. Although I know it's not hunting, I thought posting it here, where my friends in the largest state in the union would see it, would get the most response.

To those who live every day in the environment this movie is supposedly set in (although it was filmed in BC I think) and have seen this movie: How many mistakes are there in this thing? (Example: Falling in the water in winter, then just continuing to plod along without building a fire and getting out of your clothes???)

I live in Central/South Texas and even my BS meter was going off the charts.

I also couldn't help thinking how many different groups this movie will piss off; some, understandably so - pipeline workers, oil companies, pilots, search and rescue volunteers, and on and on. We won't even discuss the bunny (wolf) huggers.

The clips in the comercials did not raise my interest. I won't go see it. Most films about AK piss me off any more. Way too much incorrect info in the dialogue.
H Winkave a good one!!

Hey,
I really didn't like that movie at all. Stupid. The behavior of the wolves was comical, worst than Disney. Jump off a cliff and catch a tree on the other side....come on! I should have expected it, though.

Check out the whale saving movie. Drew Barrymore is a lot easier on the eyes than Liam Neeson.

I guess I lucked out and not bothered. I will wait for the DVD or streaming on Crackle! I like Liam Neeson a lot, good actor.

The film was shot at Smithers, British Columbia.
We don't have a theatre here so will be a while before we watch it.

You guys are as bad as the greenies who were all freaked out that the movie had slandered the kind and loving nature of wolves. It's a movie for God's sake and both sides really need to calm the hell down.
