My son and I just drew Kodiak bear tags this fall. I just bought 300 300 grain Kodiak bullets and was wondering if anyone has experience with them. I also have a box of 300 grain Woodleigh weldcore bullets that I'd like to use if the Kodiaks didn't perform the way I thought they should even though my rifle shoots them accurately. I could always go back to my old 250 grain Nosler and have full confidence but I'd like to try some of these 300 grain bullets. If anyone has experience I'd appreciate anything you could add. Thanks

They will work perfect!!! Probably the best bullet you could use in your 338. I tend to use more than enough gun

If you would like to try the new bullet, by all means try it. That is part of the fun of owning rifles and planning hunting trips. Either the 300 grain or the 250 grain bullet is completely satisfactory for brown bear. Where you put the bullet is far more important than what it weighs. Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times.
