I want to plan a black bear hunt in 2010 for my 24 year old son and I. I don't even know if I want to hunt in Alaska or Canada. I think I want to hunt over bait. Any help would be appreciated. jeffs why not consider B.C. stalk and spot? Walk along old logging roads and glass for bears. It is not unusual to see 20 bears a day there and some real busters. Way better then sitting and watching a bait barrel IMHO.

Hey Jeffs, Give Brad Lister of Coastal Inlet Adventures a call. He is spot and stalk up in coastal British Columbia. I took four good bears with him! http://coastalinletadventures.com/ Here is a shot of one of my bears. http://coastalinletadventures.com/gallery.php?cmd=galle...bear/bear8.jpg&pag=2 When catapults are outlawed, only outlaws will have catapults!
