Matt Emmons, the former captain of the Nanooks Rifle Team at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks won gold today at the 50-meter shooting in Athens. There are not too many details, but here is a little about who Emmons is, and the announcement about his Olympic gold:

Yep watched him do it, and they said he did it with a borrowed rifle as his had been damaged
