I moved down this summer from the bush to Palmer. I'm looking for a doctor who can get me ready to go to Zim (no health issues...just malaria meds and shots). Someone from here gave me some dr. recommendations several months ago and I have lost that info. Who do you guys use around Anchorage? I know there are a number of docs who also hunt and that would be preferable. I have major medical only so it will probably not be covered but that's ok. Thanks.

Mat White @ medical park has been my doctor for nearly 30 years. Fortunantly I only see him every other summer for my FAA medicals.
A normal visit includes a few moments to take care of business and half hour visiting about flying and hunting.
having said that as I recall I only made a quick trip to the state health office for all I needed for my last trip to Zim.
