Are these kind of like the "smelt" here in the lower 48, like around NY State? Over 6 or 8" you whack off the head (and maybe gut them), roll in corn meal/flower, and deep fry a few minutes. Of course, under 6" you just roll in corn meal/flower and deep fry! ![]() Done that way they were great!! Haven't had any since I left Watertown, NY in '87, or was it '88? ![]() Thanks for the memories!! | |||
