I just want to add that Phil writes some of the best articles, and I think at least now, he writes in only Rifle, Handloader, and Successful Hunter--for the most part. He writes from a vast knowledge of hunting, ammunition, and rifles. No fluff or commercial strings, just good honest observations that most hunters and shooters can glean a lot from. Most lately, have been to counter a lot of the nonsense, sales gimmicks and bs, going back to the classics and basics. Such as his last article in Successful Hunter on the 2.5 power scope which is a must read.
