Emperor Goose closed after 2024?

I have it on reasonable authority that this is the last season (2024) for Emperor applications. I cannot get this verified by a governmental source website, so I am asking here.

Apparently First Immigrants may have been over slaughtering according to ancient traditional ATV and shotgun methods. Which sounds plausible.

Please, please correct this rumor if inaccurate.
