Finally be off to Kodiak this Thursday but FISHIN not huntin! What is wrong with this picture? Any of the locals on here have news of king salmon still being caught near Kodiak? Weather? Thanks

RAIN & WIND lots of silvers, winter kings possibly, halibut, rockfish etc. You will have a Blast!!!

got the wind and rain. Managed about 1 1/2 out of three days fishing. Limits of silvers up to 16 lbs. fished about 120 ft of water and a couple of rivers. Loved the island, saw no wildlife! Surprising but not deterred from a return visit at some point.
