Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.

I used 270 failsafes on mine last year and they worked great. Two shots exited and one went corner to corner and was found under the skin. The bear went nowhere after the first shot.

If I was going to shoot factory ammo , my 1st pick would be Federal Prem. Safari High Energy 375 H&H loaded with the 300 gr Trophy Bonded Bear Claw ....

Best 375 H&H load I have ever shot ..

270 gr. fail safe is exactly what I used. It worked perfectly. I would use most any strongly constructed bullet without hesitation.

I'll pass on the 300-grain bullets. Have any 270-grain fail safes?
