Nope... bounce right off of em' just like the 44, 338 win mag, and 375H&H that have been questoned on these threads as being "ok" for brown bears.

Saw the thread on the .44 Magnum and couldn't resist starting this one.

How about 435-grain Cast Performance slugs at 1200 FPS?

Doesn't matter what the caliber is if you can't hit anything with a pistol. Leaves most of us with a rifle as the minimum requirement.
