I know, I know, this is a hunting forum. But more importantly it's an Alaskan Forum and you fellows know what is happening in your state.

I am headed to Lake Marie Lodge this weekend and just wanted a "heads up" on the silver run so far this year... any word?

Thanks!

Don't know about your area, I had good luck and so did everybody else fishing the Little Susitna south of Wasilla last week.

Just looked up Lake Marie Lodge, you should be good as fish are moving north out of Cook Inlet on their spawning runs.

Russell-I was in the Cordova area 8/10-19. Have fished that time frame for silvers for several years. Would say that the run down there was looking above average but we were in the new moon and had lots come in on those tides. We try and go a bit early. It looks to me like water levels have come down a bit. If you are fly fishing send me a PM and I will give you the ultimate coho code breaker but cannot do it here as my partners will kill me. Best of luck, Bob.

Picked up three off the boat at HandTrollers Cove on Labor Day. I ran boat and all the gear, while the wife got to reel in all the fish.
