I'm leaving for my trip to Alaska May 13th.I have not ordered my tag or license.Can I buy my black bear tag,fishing and hunting license over the counter in Juneau?I thought this might be easier.Is Alaska set up to buy these on line? I haven't been home since 2000, but I have bought a liscense for 3 years online. Works like a champ. You get a receipt, and I think you can hunt on the receipt. Then a few weeks later you get the real deal. | |||

I'm not so sure you can hunt on a receipt since the hunting license has to be signed before you can hunt and I didn't see anything in the regs about it. It wouldn't hurt to call and find out. "We band of 45-70'ers" | |||
