I just received this photo of the bear took in 2013, The Taxidermist who lives now in Southern Illinois became deathly ill and it was day by day for a little over a year and a half, I stuck with him since he was so excited to do something other than deer and fish especially since he worked on bears for a number of years when he worked for a big outfit out west. The bear is in its drying state so hopefully I will get it in the next month or som It looks better than I expected. Hopefully I have learned a lesson in patience Here is the picture when I took him Fianlly finished the base looks great a beautiful coloration for a coatal brown NRA Life Member, ILL Rifle Assoc Life Member, Navy

Where did you get the bear? Looks like weather may have been damp!

I booked with Gary Gray Alsek River Lodge, Dry Bay Alaska. Yes it rained almost everyday, the bear got wetter since he fell into the river at the shot, quite a job getting him out with all the mud

Looks good It probably made your taxidermists day when you decided to stick with him. Congratulations to both of you. Roger ___________________________ I'm a trophy hunter - until something better comes along. *we band of 45-70ers*
