A shout out to the Birchwood staff. It was a slow day when I arrived with 4 teenage boys this morning. 2 had previously shot and the others had reservations about the process.

The staff cut them some slack on their fees, were genuinely interested in them and treated them like adults. All of the boys had a positive experience, and I turned a few of them into shooters who respect firearms now that guns are no longer a mystery to them.

Keeping a watchful eye on them all and being vigilant was a full time job- but worth it. We all need to take a kid to the range for hunting and shooting to remain viable. The staff at Birchwood did a great job.

Absolutely, I think most antis wouldn't be if they tried it. Maybe they don't to guarantee they have a cause to rail against.
