I know Heimo and his wife Edna and he is the real deal. Folks here also might like to know that all he uses to hunt moose, caribou and grizzly bears is a 22-250.

I read the book in Iraq on a deployment and it was the best thing around to get your mind off BS and back to the outdoors. Wish i could spend a couple of months with him, Might as well hell

His book, written by his cousin is called 'The Final Frontiersman'. It's pretty good. Heimo and Edna are the real deal, nobody can tell them anything about living so secluded.
