Yes, I realise the delicacy of 2 "strangers" together for a hunt. But I'm in a pickle. I want to hunt with Richard Gardner's outfit next August, on a 2 hunter/1 guide 10-full-day caribou hunt @ 3000 all-inclusive out of Fairbanks. But, I don't know anyone to partner with, and I need a partner. It doesn't have to be with Gardner, and it can be a drop, outfitted or guided hunt. My budget is limited, and I need to be disciplined about this. Five years ago, I hunted the N slope/Brooks Range in a very uncomfortable camp with kill-crazy people, and as a result, decided to only watch the caribou, and hike and fish. I loved Alaska, and I MUST return and soak in all I can. So, maybe...maybe...I can link up with someone solid. I am a retired U.S. Forest Service research scientist. Talk to me....I'll talk to you....we can have a conversation. aax1@bellsouth.net | ||
