Tim HeraldAll packed and ready to head to AK
Will be leaving Friday morning headed to AK for brown bear. Planning on meeting up with Jim (Frostbit) and Joyce as well as Brett B. For dinner and drinks. Can't wait to see them. Then Sat. off for brown bear camp with 2 long time friends. Looking forward to the hunt, the camaradarie, and the wildness and beauty of AK. Brown bears eluded me on my last hunt for them, so hoping to have a change of luck.
Good Hunting,

BiebsI'll be right behind you, heading up to the Dillinger in the Alaskan Range for Moose. I see McKinley each morning as I get up, a short 20 miles to the east.

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

I doubt that Lion will be here for two weeks. The stew was pretty good but the Joyce biscuits were excellent. Just ask Wendell.
