My girlfriend was in NH for her father's 80th birthday. She went into a store and found some great stuff for backpacking. She got the following:

SEA TO SUMMIT MICRO FIBER TOWEL- This is a lightweight towel. It is about 4'x2' and folds up into a very small cube. I am guessing 2.5"x2.5" and 1 inch thick. It can't weigh more than a couple of ounces.

SEA TO SUMMIT CLOTHS LINE- This is a small lightweight cloths line that has devices on the end to attach it to tent poles, branches or whatever. It is extremely light and very small. I can close my hand around it completely. It seems perfect for hanging wet stuff to dry.

SEA TO SUMMIT WILDERNESS WASH- This is a 1.6 oz bottle of highly concentrated soap.

NITEIZE GEARLINE- This is a small lightweight line with 6-S biners to hang gear. My guess is that it weighs about 3 oz.

I would also like to share a little discovery to help keep warm. We have bought a number of camo face masks that we use while duck hunting. They are some synthetic material. There is a eye opening. It fits close to the face. You are breathing THROUGH the mask. What we have found is that the warmth of your breath on your face caused by the mask does an incredible job of keeping us warm. I am definitely taking this to AK with me later this month.

Double length of Para cord (Parachute cord), folded in half, twist it multiple times so it is tight twist and a double hitch over the tent pole.

Then slip your washing between the twists and the tightness of the twist ensures it stays
where you put it.

1 piece of cord to carry that can also be used for other things as well.

i have used the micro fiber towels while hunting in Zim and Namibia in Oct( VERY hot). soak them, wring them out a bit, and lay them over your body. acts as an evaporative cooler and makes it bearable until the temp starts to drop around 3-4 in the morning.
