Robert, I've had good luck on POW island at an area called 12 mile arm. You will need a truck to do it right. I have only hunted there in the fall and have shot some big ones although I heard last year the skull sizes were larger on the bears shot in the spring. Hunt the rivers in the fall, be patient, and you will bring home a big one.
