Nice moose. Say Lars, you know there's a guide who post around the various hunting forums that goes by Muskegman too. I thought you were him. Could get confusing...

That one is even legal for non-residents. While over in Anchorage a week or so ago I was driving down to Homer to check on a boat and right at the top of Turnagain Pass I almost ran into one of them critters standing in the middle of the road. Then further south and just a couple of miles north of sterling there was another one in the raod.

My personal recollection is that you find a way to keep large inanimate objects between you and the moose, because you most likely do not have firearm in hand, you just walked out the door going to work. They can be a little testy from being in town!

That is a nice bull. I always wondered to the bull that was hanging around the airport a couple of years back. He was bigger. I wonder if this is the same bull that was in my wifes parking lot. Its been there numerous times earlier this month (down the road from the airport). Anyways, I wish they would open hunting here in town. There are some decent bulls and lord knows they need to be thinned out. I might even take up archery if they open it.
