Anybody have an idea of the price on a new in the box Mod 70 Alaska Statehood addition rifle in 338?
It is the 25th Anniversary model.

I haven't even seen one of those in quite a while Butch. No clue about a price.

Alaska received statehood in 1958, but I'm not sure of the rifle coincided with that date.

I think the engraving shows 1959-1984. I have the photos on my other computer.

Those rifles are going for $1100 to $1500 on gunbroker, guns international and other web based gun dealers.

The Alaska Statehood Act was passed in 1958, but statehood was actually granted January 3, 1959.

If I have the correct information in my mind the rifle is a push feed isnt it?
If so, I've seen them for sale for anywhere from $800-$1,200 in the 18 months. Do remember seeing them sit for quite a while unsold.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.
