Makes a fella glad in his heart that he found this place, and long enough ago that ya know what it is supposed to be. Just takes more work now to keep doing the good stuff......

Hard to tell where the senator is coming from, but i'll throw something out there.

Let me start by saying I have always considered the price of AK guided hunts to be unrealistically high. I read an ariticle in a hunting rag (I wish I could remember which one)at the newsstand this month. It was written by a guide who was apparently frustrated with ignorant people like myself. The guide layed out what his expenses are for all to see. Running a guide service ain't cheap. Planes, boats, licenses, providing good meals in a wilderness setting, support personnel, advertising, liability insurance etc are big ticket items. At my income level I will never be able to afford a guided hunt, but now I have a better understanding why the prices are what they are. For those that can afford those hunts, they are fulfilling a dream I think we all have, and I wish them well.
